Cynthia Ann Parker College of Liberal Arts
The Cynthia Ann Parker College of Liberal Arts encompasses the 音乐学院, 洛格斯登神学院, plus the departments of Communication, 刑事司法, 英语, Fine Arts (including Art and Theatre), 心理学 & Counseling, 社会工作, and History, Philosophy, & 政治科学. We have more than 35 faculty members in these academic areas. Also included are the Forensic Studies, Honors, Media Production, and Writing programs. The College also offers master’s degree programs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and 刑事司法.
Our programs and courses are designed to provide a core liberal arts education to students of all majors across the university. 大部分的 基础课程, which consists of courses required for every undergraduate degree, is provided through the College as is a variety of courses that serve to augment and expand the general educational experience of all HSU students. It is well-recognized that training with a liberal arts emphasis provides the critical thinking skills necessary for success in many career areas.
Many of our programs offer the opportunity for internships, 外国研究, and other types of experiential learning.

Our 音乐学院 encompasses degrees in Music (including concentrations in Composition, 表演, & Worship 领导), Music Business, and Music Education. Music students find many opportunities to get involved in various ensembles that fit their skills and interests.
社会工作
一个认证, pre-professional program that includes a year-long, field experience as part of the degree requirements during the final year; prepares students for licensure as a bachelor social worker (LBSW) in the state of Texas).
洛格斯登神学院
Logsdon offers an undergraduate major in Christian Studies. This program provides a solid foundational education into various aspects of ministry--scripture, 神学, 教会历史, 以及实际应用. 除此之外, students are able to take electives in the areas of the major which interest them the most.
